Specifications & Details
About Insulation Rod
High Electrical Insulation
Insulation rods provide high dielectric strength and volume resistivity — used as structural insulating supports in switchgear, transformers, and electrical panels.
Mechanical Strength
Suitable for use as structural supports and spacers in electrical equipment where both mechanical load-bearing and electrical isolation are required.
Machinable to Drawing
Easily machined into custom insulators, bushes, standoffs, and spacers on standard CNC equipment. Supplied in rod form for in-house machining.
Thermal Stability
Maintains electrical properties over a wide temperature range. Epoxy grades offer higher temperature performance than standard bakelite.

Frequently Asked Questions
What grades of insulation rod do you supply?
We supply Bakelite (phenol-formaldehyde), Epoxy glass (FR4/G10), and phenolic grades. Contact us with your voltage, temperature, and mechanical requirements for grade selection.
What diameter range is available for insulation rods?
Standard insulation rods from 6mm to 200mm diameter in standard lengths of 1mtr and 2mtr. Cut-to-length and custom diameters available on request.
Can insulation rods be machined into custom components?
Yes. All insulation rod grades machine well on standard CNC equipment into custom insulators, standoffs, bushes, and spacers.
Need a Quote for Insulation Rod?
We supply standard stock and custom-cut sizes. Send us your specification or drawing and we'll respond within 24 hours.
